When Should You Rent?

Seasonal Requirements

Short-term rental is an economical way to meet fleet demand with late model equipment during your busiest seasons and inventory time.  This helps eliminate unnecessary overhead due to idle equipment during the balance of the year.  During holiday or peak season periods - when work starts to pile up and you haven't enough equipment to carry the load - it makes good sense to rent the extra equipment you need.  Supplement your existing equipment for seasonal requirements such as physical inventory and special events.

Unexpected Demand

Short-term rental lets you effectively handle sudden increases in demand, such as unforeseen growth or added production shifts.  Use only the minimum number of vehicles you need.  For emergencies or peak load needs, a machine from Forklifts of Minnesota fills that short-term gap.  Eliminate the expense and worry that goes along with surplus equipment.

Emergency Replacement

If you can't afford any equipment downtime, a short-term rental unit is a great way to maintain productivity levels while your machinery is being repaired, serviced or you are waiting for new equipment to be delivered.

Infrequent Use

Specialized equipment and/or attachments needed only for special projects, or for a one-time job that may not occur again.  Every now and then, you need a highly specialized piece of equipment to get a job done.  That's a perfect time for a short-term rental.
