Planned Maintenance

Forklifts of MN/ND/WI will come to your location on a regular basis and perform the following

All Forklifts:

  • Ask For Operator Concerns & Input
  • Check Upright Assembly
  • Check Parking Brake Operation
  • Check/Fill Master Cylinder
  • Inspect Hyd Cylinders and Hoses
  • Inspect Tires
  • Check and Lubricate Shafts and Levers
  • Inspect Forks and Attachments
  • Check Lights, Horns, Backup Alarm and Gauges
  • Inspect Safety Seat Belts and Hood Latch
  • Check Battery; Add Water and Clean
  • Check/Fill Transmission/Differential Oil Levels
  • Clean Machine
  • Clean Grease Fillings and Lubricate
  • Check Service Brake Operation
  • Inspect Brake Pedal Linkage
  • Check Tilt Cylinder Anchors
  • Clean or Replace Hyd Sump Breather
  • Check Steering for Operation
  • Inspect Lift and Carriage Chains
  • Inspect Data Plate and Decals
  • Visually Inspect LBR and OHG
  • Check Battery Cables and Receptacles
  • Check/Fill Hydraulic Oil Level

 Gas/LPG/CNG Forklifts:

  • Blow Out Radiator Core With Compressed Air              
  • Change Oil and Filter Element
  • Check Engine Vent Pipe
  • Inspect Spark Plugs
  • Check Carburetor
  • Check Neutral Start Switch
  • Check Air Filter; Inspect Hose & Connection
  • Check Fuel, Oil, Water System
  • Check All Accessory Drive Belts
  • Check Distributor
  • Inspect Clutch/Inching Pedal & Linkage

 

Plus:

  • Check Operation of Forward, Reverse and 1A                    
  • Check Contactor Assemblies         
  • Check Load Wheels and Lift Linkage          
  • Check Hydraulic Motor Brushes and Commulator

 

  • Check Switches
  • Check Drive Motor Brushes and Commulator
  • Check Power Steering Motor Brushes and Commulator
  • Check Caster Wheels
